Research Form
The Carver County Historical Society conducts local history research
for patrons for a fee.
Research Fees Effective May 1, 2004
- Requests for copies of articles found in the newspaper index
/ database will be $2.00 per article with no minimum. There will
be no research fee charged for newspaper index requests. A $3.00
shipping and handling fee will be charged.
- Research fees will only be charged when research other than
the newspaper index is requested. This fee will remain $25 per
hour, and 25 cents a copy (not $2.00/article), with a $5.00 minimum.
- These fees do not apply to researchers visiting the library
who do not request additional research assistance.
What are these fees used for? Research fees help offset a portion
of the costs of running the library including staff time, purchasing
new materials, and maintenance of the microfilm reader.
