Gas AdApril 1, 1886 -Alex Muller purchased 2 acres on lake, will build a fine home.

April 2, 1942 - 30 ton of rough fish seined from Burandt Lake.

April 3, 1890 - F. H. Barth - Watertown- building new addition to residence and store.

April 4, 1907 - August Sonnenberg sold his 80 acres farm to Henry Freutel.

April 5, 1945 - John F. Muralt rescued when buried alive in Iwo Jima.

April 6, 1950 - New, dial telephone system in operation.

April 7, 1893 - Mayer Bridge washed away.

April 8, 1936 - 139 WPA workers are engaged on eight Carver County projects.

April 9, 1896 - East Union- Thompson Ferry opened the 1st of April.

April 10, 1885 - Theater and Concert-Concordia Singing Society.

April 11, 1990 - "The Stranger Within"-Chaska becomes movie back lot.

April 12, 1951 - Record breaking piles of snow.

Fred Radde April 13, 1893 - Norwood barber, gone into business in Watertown.

April 14, 1982 - A major winter storm with heavy snow fall caused hundreds of school closings, the closing of stores, cancellation of mail delivery etc.; thirteen and one half inches of snow fell.

April 15, 1965 - Record flood hits Chaska - Carver.

April 16, 1903 - M. H. Muyres has been appointed agent for Northrup King & Co.

April 17, 1989 - Chaska Ducks Unlimited Banquet set for May 5.

April 18, 1991 - "The Bridge" - Victoria farmhouse tapped for second film.

April 19, 1883 - Oeberles Corners Post Office changed to Augusta.

April 20, 1982 - Chaska Athletic Park flooded.

April 21, 1898 - The Hollywood Road Case-Drew arrested for blocking the so-called Highway.

April 22, 1965 - U. S. Coast Guard unit on duty in flood ravaged Carver County.

April 23, 1891 - H. Klose purchased the Colberg property for $775.00. Mr. Colberg will Move to live with his children in Waconia.

April 24, 1884 - The barn, owned by Bob Lieverman , at the Brewery burned down.

April 25, 1905 - Acetylene Gas -Wins-Streetlights for Waconia.

April 26, 1888 - R. A. Lyons accepted position of Station Agent at Coney Island.

April 27, 1893 - Twelve year old daughter, Lizzie Voss, daughter of Leonard Voss Dies.

April 28, 1887 - A Severe Storm.

April 29, 1976 - Continental telephone ordered to upgrade service to its Customers.

April 30, 1908 - Chaska Fishing club elects Officers.
