Wendlin Grimm at Alfalfa farm
At one time it was thought that alfalfa wouldn't grow in Minnesota, except in Carver County. It wasn't until AB Lyman presented a paper to the Agricultural Society that people knew the truth, it wasn't the soil that was the unique resource, it was one German immigrant, Wendlin Grimm.
